Reading/Viewing Length: 2 digital video discs
This DVD set includes a video presentation, Understanding, Surviving and Fighting the Wind Driven Fire along with a research report. The objective of the research was to document the impact of wind on fire spread through a  structure and examines the capabilities of positive pressure ventilation, wind-control devices and externally applied water to mitigate the hazard. The DVD includes the videos from eight lab experiments performed in a simulated apartment at NIST and fourteen experiments performed in a 7- storey apartment building on Governors Island, New York. Also includes full reports on the NIST and Governors Island experiments, as well as the PowerPoint, which accompanies the video presentation.
