CONFINED SPACE EMERGENCY. CONFINED SPACE AND THE FIRST RESPONDER Edgartown, MA : Emergency Film Group, 2003.   Reissued on DVD this is the second program of three in a series called, "Confined Space Emergency". This segment shows activities that can be carried out by first responders prior to the arrival of the technical rescue teams. It covers communication with the entrant, calling for help, potential hazards inside and outside of the confined space area, establishing a command post, ventilation, size-up issues, and explosion proof and intrinsically safe equipment. It also stresses the dangers of an unprepared rescue, and discusses methods of victim retrieval without entering the space. 1 VHS videocassette/DVD (approx. 17 min.) (AV RC 87.4 DET 2003a)

Edgartown, MA : Emergency Film Group, 2003.                                 Reissued on DVD the final program in a three part series entitled, "Confined Space Emergency".This segment covers workplace accidents and community incidents; personal protective equipment; specialized rescue equipment; risk evaluation; entry procedures and rescue techniques. 1VHS videocassette/DVD (approx. 17 min.)    (AV RC 87.4 DET 2003b)

I.C.S. THE INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM Edgartown, MA : Emergency Film Group, 2000.    Reissued on DVD this program provides an overview of the incident command system (ICS). It covers; basic organizational structure of the ICS, responsibilities of key players, establishing standardized procedures, establishing the command post and emergency operations
centres, looks at relationships between various responding agencies and describes how unified
command is set-up and operated. A book entitled, "Incident Command System, Model Procedures
Guide" is also included.
