The 'Legislation' section of the OFM web site has been
reorganized to raise the profile of the 2007 edition of the Fire Code. Documents
related to the 1997 edition have been relocated to the 'Archived
Documents' subfolder under the 'Fire Code'
(please refer to the layout outline below). For example, opinions and
applications related to the 1997 edition of the Fire Code are now located in
this subfolder. Please note that certain other documents/tools have also been
relocated as part of this reorganization. Notably, opinions and applications
related to the Fire Protection and Prevention Act can now be found as a
subfolder of 'Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997'.
Finally, 'Technical Guidelines, Papers and Bulletins'
have been placed as a link under the 'Legislation'
section. These latter documents are currently undergoing review and revisions
reflecting the 2007 Fire Code and the updated versions will be posted as they
become available.
Plans are under way to post new opinions related to the 2007 edition of the Fire
Code in the near future. This information will reside in the 'Fire
Code (2007 edition)' subfolder under the main 'Fire
Code' folder.
