Fire Safety Courses for Improving Safety for Vulnerable Ontarians

Training for owners/operators, chief fire officials and supervisory staff of care occupancies, care and treatment occupancies and retirement homes

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management training to enhance fire safety in occupancies housing vulnerable Ontarians is here!

To facilitate compliance with Fire Code requirements, the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management has developed courses for three target groups that are being delivered by the Public Service Health and Safety Association (PSHSA). The three courses are for:

  1. owners/operators (or their delegates) of care occupancies, care and treatment occupancies and retirement homes
  2. chief fire officials (CFOs)
  3. supervisory staff of care occupancies, care and treatment occupancies and retirement homes

The on-line courses for owners and operators as well as chief fire officials are available now. All courses are available at www.pshsa.ca/ofmem.
