Industrial Fire Fighting Training Courses

The Office of the Fire Marshal and the Ontario Fire College are pleased to announce a unique training opportunity for members of Industrial Fire Brigades. This 5-day course is taught by a team of industrial and municipal firefighting instructors and is geared to industrial firefighters.

This 5-day course develops basic firefighting skills based on the Ontario Fire College’s Firefighter Curriculum as used by most Ontario Municipal Fire Departments. Student-learners will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge in the following subject areas:

Course Length:	5 days
Dates:	August 25 – 29/08
Time:	Class begins at 0800 hrs. daily. Evening sessions will also be conducted.
Location:	Ontario Fire College, 1495 Muskoka Road North, Gravenhurst, ON P1P 1R8
Cost:	$ 1500.00 per participant

PLEASE NOTE: COURSE PARTICIPANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN TURNOUT GEAR THAT MEETS OR EXCEEDS N.F.P.A. COMPLIANT GLOVES, CSA COMPLIANT FIRE BOOTS, ONTARIO REGULATION COMPLIANT FIRE HELMET, CGSB COMPLIANT FIRE COAT AND PANTS, AS WELL AS AN NFPA COMPLIANT FLASH HOOD.

The Ontario Fire College is a residential school located on the shores of beautiful Lake Muskoka. The 98 residence rooms are dormitory-style single rooms with shared washrooms. An on-site cafeteria provides excellent meals and our fully licenced student lounge is open during the evenings.
